CONJIR.
An artist without borders. A life lived through rhythm.
Music made
to move you.
CONJIR brings decades of musical experience to a sound where feeling comes first.
Born from Puerto Rican heritage and informed by the house-music culture of Chicago, his work moves fluidly between soulful house, Afro-Latin grooves, R&B, neo-soul, and deeply personal songwriting.
Whether creating an intimate single or building an extended DJ session, the purpose stays the same: music that connects people to each other — and to themselves.
“The dancefloor isn't the destination.
It's where the story unfolds.”
Craft over hype. Authenticity over trends. Every note in service of the experience.
The person.
The purpose.
Behind CONJIR and Boricua House Records is JL Roldán, the songwriter, composer, producer, and founder whose creative vision guides the label.
The label exists to honor Puerto Rican heritage, celebrate musical craftsmanship, and create space for records that have something to say.
JL Roldán appears in songwriting, composition, and production credits — not as a separate recording artist.
